This year, SCC Board member Sarah Haddad Cheney was honored by the UJA Federation of NY.
Sarah has been a trustee of the Sephardic Community Center for 16 years, during which time she has served in a variety of capacities. She is a founding member and co-chair of the agency’s Women’s Center. In addition, she served as chair or co-chair of many committees and programs, including adult education, special events, young adults, social services, building expansion, and group exercise. She is involved with the Sephardic Angel Fund and established the Ricky Haddad Memorial Foundation to provide confidential counseling services. Sarah is president and founder of Skin Deep, a cosmetic and pharmaceutical company.
