Afternoons Out: Social Adult Day Program for People with Memory Loss
Mondays and Wednesdays / 12:00 noon – 4:00pm
Fee: $25 per session
Transportation may be available upon request
This program is for people with early and mid-stages of memory loss due to dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease. Our facilitators, Richard Milone and Tally Grazy, create a nurturing and safe environment to actively involve participants in group activities such as simple table games, music, arts & crafts, and exercise. Light snacks are served. Home attendants and family members are invited to participate.
An intake interview and pre-registration is required to participate. Please call to schedule an interview.

Bereaved Mothers Support Group
Tuesdays, monthly (call for dates) / 10:30 am – 12:00 noon
Mothers who have experienced grief from the loss of a child meet monthly to share feelings and get support during this difficult time. Facilitated by Craig Podell, L.C.S.W.
Weight Watchers at the SCC
Every Tuesday evening
Weigh in 7:00pm; Meeting starts 7:30pm
Learn an approach that promotes healthy habits, a supportive environment, and exercise. The meeting is facilitated by Rachel Kieffer, a 100 lb. “loser” who has maintained her weight loss for more than three years. She speaks Hebrew, is knowledgeable of Kashrut, and is familiar with the Sephardic community’s holidays, food and traditions.
