MOTHER'S DAY WALK-A-THON 2012
Sunday, May 13th, the SCC Mother’s Day 5K Walk/Run was a beautiful day that brought the crowds out. It started early in the morning, with Vinyasa Yoga with Diana Treglia, on the beach. After that, while our guests were enjoying breakfast, suddenly someone started dancing on the boardwalk – it was Michal Cheney! People started asking themselves, “Why is she dancing all by herself?” But, then, two ladies joined her. And then a few more. Followed by even more, until a whole group was assembled, dancing in unison — it was a ZUMBA FLASHMOB! It was an impressive sight. Shortly afterwards, the walk began, as mothers and their families enjoyed Mother’s Day with a beautiful, sun-filled walk on the Boardwalk.
