Tuna with Garlic & Tomatoes

INGREDIENTS 4 Tuna steaks (1-inch thick and 6-7 ounces each) DIRECTIONS 1. Season Tuna with salt and pepper. Heat frying pan with oil until extremely hot. Add Tuna, reduce heat to medium and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning once, until pink in the center. 2. Transfer steaks to plate and cover with foil. Add garlic and 1?2 tablespoon oil to frying pan and fry for 15 seconds, stirring constantly. 3. Pour in wine and boil until it is reduced by half. 4. Add tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce is bubbly. 5. Season with pepper and pour over fish. 6. Serve garnished with fresh basil. |
