Homemade Granola

INGREDIENTS 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut DIRECTIONS 1. Preheat oven to 350°. 2. Spread shredded coconut on baking pan and toast for 5 minutes. Let Cool. 3. Reduce oven temperature to 300°. 4. Line 2 baking pans with parchment paper and set aside. 5. In a large bowl, combine oats, almonds, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, 6. Spread mixture onto prepared baking pans. 7. Bake until granola is golden brown, 25 minutes. Let cool. 8. Break up cooled granola and transfer to large bowl. Option: Sprinkle with coconut and raisins. Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1 month. |
