Twisted Sugar Bracelets

INGREDIENTS

4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup Mazola oil
4 cups sifted flour
Small dash of sugar
Blanched pistachios

DIRECTIONS

1. Preheat oven to 350°.

2. Beat eggs sugar, vanilla and oil.

3. Add flour gradually until dough forms smooth ball.

4. Cover with a clean cloth and refrigerate 20 minutes.

5. Separate into medium-sized balls.

6. Roll each piece of dough into a long rope.

7. Holding both ends, twist into a rope.

8. Close ends together to form a small bracelet.

9. Carefully dip into sugar.

10. Put on ungreased tray.

11. Press a pistachio into joined end of bracelet.

12. Bake at 350° and gently remove while warm.
