Mushroom Eggplant Puff Pastry

INGREDIENTS

Puff pastry
2 boxes Marlboro mushrooms
2 large eggplants
1 can chick peas
1 large Vidalia onion
2 teaspoons sugar
1 egg
2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Puff pastry log or puff pastry squares can be used to make pickups.

DIRECTIONS

1. Broil eggplant sliced in circles with garlic salt and olive oil.

2. Meanwhile, slice mushrooms. Sauté with oil and Vidalia onions.

3. When the eggplant is browned, add to mushrooms. Mix together well.

4. Add salt and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Add chick peas.

5. Roll in puff pastry log or small puff pastry squares.

6. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

7. Can be frozen or bake at 350° on a lightly greased Pyrex or tray for 45 minutes.
