Chicken with Rice, Nuts & Fruit

INGREDIENTS

1 whole chicken
Crushed garlic
Paprika
A little cinnamon
Worcestershire sauce
A little orange juice
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups white rice, cooked and cooled
Apricots
Prunes
Raisins, black and golden
Almonds
Pistachios
Snobar walnuts

DIRECTIONS

1. Take whole chicken and rub garlic all over chicken.

2. Sprinkle chicken with paprika, cinnamon, Worcestershire sauce, orange juice and salt and pepper to taste.

3. Marinate chicken.

4. Cook chicken in a Reynolds oven bag at 350° until done, about 1 hour.

5. Take dried fruit and nuts and cut it up into small pieces. Add to rice.

6. Add a little cinnamon and salt to taste.

7. Put chicken on one side of roaster and rice on the other. Cook until done, checking rice to make sure it doesn't burn.
