Hamburgers I

INGREDIENTS

1 or 2 pound meat
Salt and pepper
1 chicken consommé cube
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup Brandy or Cognac

DIRECTIONS

1. Add salt and pepper to meat and shape as hamburgers.

2. Fry hamburgers in oil. Remove.

3. In remaining oil, fry one chopped onion.

4. Remove from pan.

5. Add the following ingredients in the pan: chicken cube with water, Brandy or Cognac, salt and pepper.

6. Return hamburgers back to pan and cook on low heat until cooked.
