COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Community Members,

Yesterday afternoon, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared a State of Emergency for the entire city in response to the recent spread of COVID-19.  In light of these recent developments, The Center’s Board of Directors in conjunction with its professional leadership team, has decided to take extra precaution and close the entire facility and suspend all programs effective Friday, March 13, 2020 at 3 PM, through Sunday, March 22, 2020, at which time we will reevaluate the situation.

We don’t take this decision lightly. The Center has never closed its door for an extended period of time in its 38-year history. We feel this decision is what’s best for the community.

We will communicate any updates via social media and e-mail over the coming weeks.
