Early Childhood Nurse
ABOUT THE POSITION:
School Nurse is needed to cover acute care needs in school such as First Aid, Medication Administration, Epi-Pen Coverage, Nebulizers, and Supervision.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Consult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student care
Administer medication - Assist with collecting and updating students/ staff immunization records and forms.
- Monitoring health plans for students
- Educate staff on health procedures
- Ability to communicate well with parents
- Ability to assess situations and act quickly
- Knowledge of state health regulations
- Assist on-site staff in control and prevention of communicable diseases and related communications
QUALIFICATIONS:
*1 year of experience
*CPR certification
HOURS:
Mon-Thurs: 9 AM–3 PM, Friday, 9 AM–12:30 PM

SALARY:
Commensurate with experience. Estimated salary for this role is $38,000–$42,000.
