Aaron Rosenfeld

Chief Operating Officer

Aaron Rosenfeld comes to us with a rich background of Jewish communal experience. Always involved with Jewish activities from his youth growing up in the Deal, New Jersey area and attending Hillel Yeshiva through today in his local community of Merrick Long Island. He was a board member of the JCC of Greater Monmouth County in New Jersey and volunteered as a vice chairman of the in the 2001 summer Maccabi Games that was co-sponsored by JCC Monmouth and the Sephardic Community Center. Although he was a practicing attorney, he realized that he was much more passionate about his volunteer work of building community than his chosen legal profession.

In December of 2001 he followed his passion and changed careers accepting the position of Associate Executive Director of the JCC of Greater Monmouth County (now JCC Jersey Shore) eventually becoming the Executive Director. In July 2011, Aaron was named the Executive Director of the JCC of Omaha in Nebraska. After two years, the family returned to the New York area as Aaron accepted the position of Associate Executive Director of the then Samuel Field Y. A year later, he was promoted to Executive Director and then oversaw the merger of the Samuel Field Y and the Central Queens Y becoming the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer until 2019 when he was named the Executive Director of the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC in the Five Towns.

Aaron is passionate about strengthening and supporting the community through program, operational and service excellence and is excited to be working with the Sephardic community again. Aaron is married to Judy (Tawil) and has two children, Daniel & Linda.
