Insia Malik

Violin

Insia Malik is a versatile violinist with experience in a wide array of styles and languages of artistic expression. She also earned her Ph.D. in Ethnomusicology at the Graduate Center at the City University of New York. Insia has appeared in concert at venues such as Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, Le Poisson Rouge, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Lincoln Center. An active freelancer, she performs regularly with several ensembles, including the National Arab Orchestra.

Insia enjoys teaching violin students of all levels and ages, with experience in teaching both group classes and private lessons.
