Michael Rosen
Chief Executive Officer
Michael Rosen joins the Sephardic Community Center as CEO, bringing over two decades of leadership experience across media, marketing, and technology. Throughout his career, he has guided organizations through periods of growth and change, leading teams in both fast-paced startup environments and established institutions. In addition to his professional work, he has been deeply involved in nonprofit initiatives by contributing to mission-driven organizations such as UJA-Federation of New York and The New York Pops.
Michael embraces a leadership philosophy centered on showing up, listening carefully, communicating clearly, and treating people with respect to ultimately achieve operational excellence. While he takes his work seriously, he also values maintaining a sense of humor along the way.
When asked what drew him to this job he said, “What has already stood out to me is the pride people have in this community, and the way they show up for one another. Even in a short amount of time, you can feel that the SCC plays a meaningful role in people’s lives.”
Outside the office, Michael’s focus shifts to his family. “Spending time with my family is always at the top of the list,” whether that’s being out in the city, eating something great, or traveling somewhere together. He also cares a lot about fitness, both physical and mental, and especially enjoys a good conversation over coffee. He often finds inspiration in the quiet moments of life, whether at the gym, commuting, or listening to music.
