Russell Willens

Chief Financial Officer

Russell Willens is an accomplished financial executive with over 30 years of experience in the accounting and finance fields. Russell started his career as a Senior Accountant at a public accounting firm specializing in not-for-profit companies. He advanced into the role of Controller working for one of the largest privately held music publishing companies in the world. In his role as Controller and then CFO, he took on the responsibilities of managing a $35+million company and managing an accounting staff, managing and directing G\L reconciliation, along with preparing budgets and financial statements. From there, Russell founded a successful pre-school after care program and eventually moved into the role of Chief Financial Officer at a staffing company for four years.

 

Before the Center, Russell worked at Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center, where he was CFO for over 7 years. In addition to his CFO responsibilities, he also supervised the building facilities team and security. His experience in these departments, along with the many years of professional expertise, are incredible assets to his responsibilities at the Center.
