The Painted Portrait: Discussion and Drawing in Allenhurst

Workshop led by artist, Bonnie Morano

The portrait has been a constant subject of interest for the artist throughout history. Discussion will focus on specific artists such as Picasso, Warhol, Chagall, Modigliani and how they each approached the portrait using the formal art language of line, color, form, scale, gesture, and composition to bring out the meaning of their subject.
